Stacey Stewart, Be Empowered Birth and Parenting

I’m Stacey and I am the owner and founder of Be Empowered Birth and Parenting Pty Ltd. I live in the beautiful town of Mirboo North in Gippsland with my husband and 2 children. Both of my children were born at home after I became a midwife, and these two incredible, empowering experiences solidified for me that private midwifery was where my heart and future lay! I am a laid back and nurturing person, who will fiercely defend a woman’s right to make her own choices in life, pregnancy, labour and birth. My role as a private midwife is to work with pregnant women, supporting them to make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum journey.

I am currently offering pregnancy and postpartum care only out of my Traralgon-based clinic, or at client’s homes across Gippsland (travel fees apply). I also run group childbirth and parenting classes in Traralgon, hire Elle TENS machines and have a small shop (online and Traralgon pick-up) with a carefully curated selection of pregnancy, birth and postpartum items in stock.
