Molly Howell,

Empowering You Birth

Hi there! My name is Molly, I am an endorsed midwife, childbirth educator and mother to two very busy children. I love living in the country with my family and our spotty dog Benson, growing my own vegetables and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. You’ll often find me barefoot in the garden or grabbing a babycino for my two rugrats.

I have been a midwife since 2019, working in a range of services including busy tertiary hospitals, the community and a family birth centre. The birth centre is where I really found my passion for continuity of care and developing trusting relationships with the women I care for. Being with women during their pregnancy, being able to support them in labour and then supporting them in the early days of motherhood is a true privilege and something I love immensely. After having a home birth with my second child, I truly understood the power of private midwifery care and how incredible it was for women and their families and I knew this was something I had to do!

When it comes to midwifery care, no two women are the same and no two journeys are the same. Women should be provided with choice and options on how and where they wish to birth their babies. Women should be met with kindness, empathy and understanding and be supported throughout the entire journey of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

As your midwife I believe in working together to support the pregnancy, birth and postpartum you want.

I love the personalised experience of continuity of care. I love the connection with women, getting other children involved in the care and getting to know the names of family pets!
